As FORTRUST expands its Denver data center, it will use Diesel Rotary Uninterruptible Power Supply (DRUPS) from E1 Dynamics to provide emergency power during utility outages. The DRUPS unit features a diesel engine and a rotary UPS that uses kinetic energy, eliminating the need for batteries.

Sales Manager

Responsabilities

  • Generate sales in the German data centre market and reach the company's sales target
  • Strengthen the brand positioning of EURO-DIESEL within Germany
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the German market or abroad 
  • Interact and coordinate with the other staff members in other geographical area's working on the same customer or project 
  • Establish framework agreements with the customer 
  • Meet time deadlines and deliver what is promised 

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree, MBA preferred 
  • 5+ years of proven sales experience selling highly engineered customized solutions 
  • Sales experience in multi MW UPS or power generation equipment preferred 
  • Strong personality with the ability to grow sales in a matured and international environment 
  • Consultative sales mentality and experience solving problems for customers 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Capabilities to coordinate within different international markets 
  • Highly organized and ability to work independently from a home or office,  position is preferably Frankfurt based
  • Fluent in Germand and in English
  • Willing and able to travel 50%+

Must Possess:

  • This individual must preferably have a track record with sales growth and business development providing financial and technical engineering solutions to customers in the following markets: Data Centre, Energy, Switchgear, Cooling or Power Generation.
  • This individual must be a strong relations builder and enterprise solutions sales person providing customized financial and engineered solutions to customers and familiar with long sales cycles.
  • You will need to identify who your different stakeholders are and what their needs may be. You will need to collaborate with different staff members within your own organization to make sure that everybody is working toward the common objective, which is more than just selling a UPS system. It's a job for someone who knows how to move things along, with good interpersonal skills, able to work with a group of people.
