Business Development Manager (M/F)

Reporting to the UK General Sales Manager, your role will be to seek out and develop opportunities for the sale of turnkey UPS systems. The opportunities are typically 12 months in the making, so you will need to take the ‘long game’ approach to prospecting and develop a two to five-year pipeline.

An internal function within the business will help you to first base by providing unqualified leads. Your role will be to interrogate those leads and take them to a point where further commercial and technical support from the team is necessary. You must be tenacious, enthusiastic, and comfortable with customer engagement at all levels. Ideally, you will have a knowledge and understanding of the key drivers in the customer’s decision making process.
The ability to identify the drivers and ‘talk the language‘ of customers in order to differentiate and promote the EURO-DIESEL UPS system as the solution of choice is essential. You will have proven experience within the data centre industry; either coming from a data centre owner or having worked within the data centre supply chain (consultant, contractor, equipment provider).
